This policy explains how Rebar Intact Consultants Limited (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through rebarintactconsultantslimited.sbs and in the course of providing rebar consulting services, including reinforcement drawings, drawing review, rebar specifications, bar bending schedules, rebar quantities and project coordination.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number and your role on a project (for example designer, fabricator or contractor).
• The content of your enquiry and any correspondence that follows.
• Project documents you send us, such as structural drawings, specifications, reinforcement drawings and schedules. These may contain names and contact details of people working on the project.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss the scope of work.
• To prepare, review and issue drawings, schedules, specifications and quantities for your project.
• To coordinate with the other parties on a project, such as the designer, fabricator or contractor, where that coordination is part of the work you have asked us to do.
• To keep records needed for invoicing, accounting and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.

Sharing

We share project information only with parties involved in the same project and only as needed for the work, or where the law requires it. Email and file storage providers we use to run the business may process information on our behalf.

Retention

We keep enquiries that do not lead to a project for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We keep project records for as long as they may be needed to answer questions about the work or to meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Send your request to cessy937@gmail.com. We handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy law, and you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you have a concern we have not resolved.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information and documents you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending information that is not needed for the work.

The contact form on this website checks your entries in your browser. Until it is connected to an email service, it does not transmit or store what you type. To be sure your request reaches us, email us directly.
